The Farm

I spent two days with my friends Patti and Phil. I met Patti three years ago on my first day of banjo camp. It tool us about 20 minutes to realize we would be life long friends.

Both Patti and Phil are teachers. They also have a horse farm and a fossil museum (that Phil built!).

Among the horses, turkeys, and cats live three adorable doggies - Chloe, Sadie, and Buddy. I think Buddy is my favorite. He's just such a sweetie.

I got to watch my first horse show. A student of Patti's was showing for the first time on the most beautiful spotted horse.

Above is one of the many views from the house. I could not look outside with out seeing a horse, or two, grazing. Phil and his friend are working in the organic garden. We had the most amazing dinners from this garden.
Phil's museum is one of the coolest I've seen. While I was staying at the farm he held a fossil camp. The campers always get some time to find fossils and explore the museum.

This place is a little slice of heaven.
